Indoor Valentine's Dates

With the weather set to be miserable and typically English on Valentine's Day any plans for a romantic stroll, outing or anything like that I'm sure will have gone out of the window. Although there is plenty to do indoors away from the home it's sometimes quite nice just to curl up in doors in something comfy well the weather goes for it outside. Bearing that in mind I thought I'd give you some ideas for good ways to spend Valentine's Day in your own home.

Indoor Picnic

Spread out a sheet on the floor and indulge in some, well, indulgent foods. Salmon sandwiches, cheese and biscuits, fancy chocolates. This isn't a beach side picnic with the whole family. This is an indoor picnic on Valentine's day so go for it with the foodie treats.

Cook 3 Meals
No I don't mean a three course meal I mean all three meals of the day. One cooks breakfast, other cooks lunch and you both cook dinner. Some ideas would be smoked salmon and poached eggs on an English Muffin for breakfast, mushroom risotto for lunch and rump steak with rosemary and sea salt roasted potatoes for dinner.

At home spa day

Pamper each other with a warm bath, massages, time to relax, all enjoyed with a glass of bubbly. Just think of recreating that spa day experience but in the comfort of your home with your own slippers and own dressing gown.

At home cinema

Go and buy yourself a new release that you wish you'd seen at the cinema. A massive bottle of fizzy, some homemade popcorn and dim the lights. Apart from the fact it will be much cozier due to being sat on your own sofa with as many blankets as you fancy it will also be half the price.

I hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day, let me know if you decide to stay in and opt for one of these indoor dates.

Until next time,
