Thought of the week #36

Thought of the week Motivational Monday

There's some things, it doesn't matter how many times you try you just can't seem to get it right. You keep burning the cake you've been working on, you can't write the blog post that you feel could be the best post you've written in ages, you can't seem to pass the test. It can begin to feel like you're failing every time you try and don't get the result you want. However, every time you try again it's not failure, it's experience. Every time you learn something new and can build not that to make next time better and closer to the success you are looking for. So don't give up, keep experiencing and keep learning. You'll get there.

Thought of the week #35

It's nearly the end of the year , the clocks have changed and winter's really setting in so it feels like a good time to give up on the new year's resolutions you made, what seems like, forever ago. Don't -stick with them, even if it's not a new years resolution maybe you just feel like giving up on something that's getting a little hard. Don't, keep going, keep working at it, keep pushing for the end goal and keep dreaming. Look back at the end of the year and know you didn't give up, you gave it your all and when it got hard you kept going and you'll do it all again next year.

Thought of the week #34

Thought of the week, monday motivation
Being cautious and anxious can often mean you say no to opportunities and experiences that come your way. At the time it seems like the best decision but afterwards you can often feel like you've missed out and feel a bit regretful. Life is too short to regret not taking chances that came your way. You wouldn't want to look back or regret something, particularly the chance to do something exciting or try something new. Next time you get the chance to do something, or think about doing something or trying something but aren't sure - go for it. It doesn't matter who you are, at least you can say you tried no matter what the outcome.

Thought of the week #33

Thought of the week Motivational Monday
This one kind of speaks for itself. Wake up everyday and smash it. Try and leave any negativity or doubts behind and focus on getting through your to do list and owning the day. Some days you just can't be bothered and give everything half the effort you know you really should, this week give everything your all. Wake up every day and be extraordinary.

Thought of the week #32

motivational Monday, thought of the week
Being creative is a great release of stress and pent up emotions, writing, painting, singing, anything. But sometimes being creative feels a bit of a mess and your mind feels a jumble. That's ok. Create through it and create to make sense of it and get it out. Feeling on edge about potential creativity will only make you feel down let it out and express yourself however you feel best and enjoy to buzz that comes from it.

Thought of the week #31

Motivational Monday Thought of the wekk
It's a simple message be whoever you want to be, do whatever you want to do and don't let anyone tell you, you can't. Sometimes it's easier said than done society and people important to you can make you feel like being you isn't enough or isn't right. It is though and it's up to you to do you 100%. It will make you happier and in the long run that's what matters most.

Thought of the week #30

Motivational Monday
We all take things for granted. The everyday things that are just there that we forget not everyone has. Our health, our family and friends, our jobs, food and clean water. We often forget how lucky we are to have those things, things that we just assume will always be there or that we'll always have. There are so many people without those things that we take for granted on a daily basis, and one day we might be without them. It's important to remember to be grateful for all the things we have as there's people out there who would do anything for those things.

Thought of the week #29

If life was always easy, life would be boring. Sometimes things are hard, sometimes things are a struggle and sometimes things just feel unfair and shit. It is tough to get through sometimes, no one gets how you're feeling because it's you that's going through it. Everyone goes through tough times sometimes, some tougher than others and even though what you're going through feels like the hardest and the worst there's someone, somewhere going through a lot worse and coping. Life is really hard sometimes but you're built to cope with it and you will get through it. Being positive about it and remembering that everything will be OK in the end will make it that bit easier.

Thought of the week #28

Motivational Monday The best is yet to come
When things aren't going exactly to plan it's easy to find yourself in a negative head space. When you're stressed, not enjoying something anymore, or just generally having a bad time, it can be hard to see the positive side of things and look for the good in situations. Although it's hard, it's best to remember it hasn't always been that way and therefore it won't continue to be that way forever. Life can be shitty sometimes but if you keep in mind good things are just around the corner you'll see things start to feel better.

Thought of the week #27

It can often feel like you're not getting anywhere with things. It feels like you've been at it for ages and you're not much further than where you started, right? Wrong. For every second you put into whatever it is you want to achieve, you're getting somewhere. You're a step closer than you were yesterday, a might be a big step it might be a small one, but it's a step. That's what you should focus on.

Thought of the week #26

We're always busy making sure everyone else is ok, and happy and doing well that we often forget about ourselves. We end up feeling exhausted and down. Every now and again, why not one evening every week? Take some time to yourself to focus on you and your head space. Just sit an enjoy a cuppa, read a few pages of a book, have a bath, do a workout. Just something that takes you away from focusing on anything other than you.

Thought of the week #25

We all need to get out of the head space where we think mistakes mean we've failed. Everyone makes mistakes , big or small, we wouldn't be human if we didn't. Instead of viewing mistakes as a failure let's try viewing them as a learning curve, proof that we're trying if nothing else. Taking a more positive mindset to things that are often negative makes all the difference.

Thought of the week #24

Everyone doubts themselves from time to time and it could be to do with anything. Going to university, getting a promotion, finding a house. But all it really does is make us take a step back and stop us from doing something we want to do. If we were to just go for it and try the outcome could be completely different from what the doubt was saying it would be. You might fail, but then again you might succeed and just because you failed that time doesn't mean you will the next time. Get up and try again.

Until next time,

Thought of the week #23

It's not always easy to be optimistic in a bad situation. It's easy to see the negative side and how something might go wrong. But it brings you down and before you know it you're in a negative, pessimistic slump and you just feel bleugh. Everyone feels better when you look at the positive of something, it's not always easy, but if you remember how much better it makes you feel it can be made a bit easier. This week, try to choose to be optimistic about things and see how much better you feel for it.

Thought of the Week #21

Kindness doesn't cost a penny - everyone's mum has told them that. But it's true. It costs you nothing to be kind. Sometimes you've had a shitty day and you can't be bothered to anything more than you have to. But letting someone go before you to get on the bus, or wishing the checkout girl at Tescos a good evening, or making a round of tea when you get in. Whatever it is it could be the thing that makes some else's day and puts a smile on their face when they were having an otherwise awful day. That should be enough to make it worth going that little bit further to be kind and loving and thoughtful. Throw your kindness around like confetti and good things will come your way.

Thought of the Week #20

Every now and again it's ok to get the feeling that you cannot do something, whatever it is and no matter how hard you try. You can't possibly face your boss AGAIN this Monday morning, you can't possibly sit through another Maths lesson because you just can't do it, you can't get through the to-do list becuase it's just too overwhelming. Every now and again it feels like it's spiraling out of control a bit and you just can't do it anymore. You can though, and you will. You just need to remind yourself that you've done it before and you got though it and felt better for it. Remember the feeling after putting your all into something and feeling great for getting it done, and feeling like you got this. Whatever it is remember that and you can do it.

Thought of the week #19

thought of the week, motivational monday

How many times have you said you're busy and what you mean by that is your busy not really doing anything? When you're busy try to be busy doing things not just getting caught up in being flustered about all the things you want to get done. Writing a list and checking things of when you've done help with this. Being busy by being productive is the best way to be busy and you'll find you're feel way more achievement that way.

Thought of the week #18

thought of the week, motivational Monday,

Take a deep breath. Feel better? Sometimes that's all you need. When you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed just stop for a minute take a deep breath, reevaluate the stressful situation and start again with a clear mind and positive headspace. Try it this week when you're overwhelmed with housework, or your to do list is getting a little long or whatever it is. Take a breath and start again.

Thought of the week #17

motivational monday, thought of the week,

The most important thing is to be happy in everything and with everything you do and are doing. If you're not happy stop, think about it and decide what you can do to be happy. Sometimes it's not as easy as to stop immediately whatever it is that is making you unhappy. Sometimes it's something you have to work towards and set goals for. So do that set goals and feel happy in knowing that you're working towards whatever it is that you feel will make you happy.

Thought of the week #16

Thought of the week, motivational monday

New Year, New Start? New Month, New Start? New Week, New Start? How about New Day, New Start? We tend to think of the first day of the month or week as the time to start fresh and try again. But do that and before you know it the year is up and you haven't achieved what you wanted to. This week when Monday or Tuesday or whatever day doesn't go entirely plan, move the plan over to the next day. Whether it's the workout plan you wanted to start, the book you wanted to finish or the trip you wanted to plan. Whatever it is tomorrow is a fresh day and a fresh start and you haven't failed.

Until next time,
